System Analyst - IT Cyber Compliance

Core Responsibilities

  • The System Analyst will be responsible for the administration and review of access to the Con Edison computing environment. This function includes the creation of Domain ids for Service/Contractor accounts, and management of Exchange Public Folders, Distribution Lists, and Security groups, access reviews as well as streamlining work processes.
  • Administer employee/contractor access to network and business applications as well as update Computer Security internal procedures when required.
  • Responsible for the yearly review of all ITP internal procedures as well as Data Directory M020Gold disaster recovery procedures.
  • Responsible for the security administration of Computer Resource Coordinator access, as well as quarterly access review.
  • Responsible for the security administration of the High Value Network, Radius (Key Fobs) as well as quarterly access review.
  • Team Lead for O365 Computer Security troubleshooting
  • Team Lead for all Computer Security website requests
  • Team Lead for the identification and automation of Computer Security functions.
  • Assist with the collection and preparation of information for response to external and internal Computer Security audits.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure Computer Security activities are handled in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Must be available 24/7, on call, and/or participate in off-hour emergency response activities as required.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree And a minimum of two (2) years of experience preferably in IT Or
  • Associate's Degree And a minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience, preferably in Cybersecurity

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Required Work Experience

  • Experience with automation through scripting Required
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management concepts and tools Required
  • Understanding of Active Directory user and group management Required
  • Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines simultaneously Required
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management tools Preferred
  • Experience performing user acceptance testing for applications or systems Preferred
  • Good understanding of industry standard policy, processes and procedures covering incident, problem and change management is preferred Pref

Skills & Ability

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required
  • Other: Technical certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CIPP, etc.) Preferred

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
  • Must be available 24/7, on call, and/or participate in off-hour emergency response activities as required.
