Core Responsibilities

  • The Section Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing various CES digital projects and products.
  • Develop a proactive, customer-centric and stakeholder-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers and improve value for all our stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the creation, implementation and coordination of the digital delivery operating model, maintaining focus on business value and managing budget.
  • Ensures product and business are established thus providing the foundation for continuous improvement in technology, continuously delivering with quality.
  • Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
  • Commitment to the Way We Work Principles, and adheres the Company's Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (''EH&S''), Equal Employment Opportunity (''EEO''), discipline, and security.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to facilitate customer, regulatory bodies and other stakeholder inquiries and collaborations relating to Distributed Energy Resource management system (DERMS) and provide a bridge between policy decisions to the distributed system platform (DSP).
  • Commit to the ideals of developing a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers and improve value for all our stakeholders.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to provide prompt resolution to customer, regulatory bodies and other stakeholder inquiries and collaborations relating to CES.
  • Interface with various company groups to execute and implement projects.
  • Support Company and State CLCPA goals.
  • Continue to communicate, engage and partner with lead stakeholders such as the NYSPSC, NYSERDA, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science And 8 years related experience

Required Work Experience

  • Ability to effectively and positively interact with all levels of management, customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, etc. is essential in this dynamic position. Required
  • Must have good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Required
  • Project management, operational experience, forecasting and capital program experience. Required
  • Demonstrated experience to effectively resolve business operating challenges through a logical, systematic approach. Required
  • Work experience with agile project management or customer experience management. Preferred
  • Experience with change management and training programs. Preferred
  • Experience with user acceptance testing and IT change control processes. Preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple functional topics, solve problems and remove impediments. Pref

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
