- The role of Sr System Analyst (Oracle ODI) will be responsible for the design and development of interfaces utilizing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This individual is expected to have strong Oracle, PL/SQL, and Oracle ODI experience, and will be performing a variety of development functions, including:
- Providing expertise in data mapping between systems such as transactions applications and data warehouses
- Creation of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) software programs
- Creation and maintenance of logical and physical data models that adhere to best practices
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of database design principals as well as database administration methods and techniques
- This role drives proficiency within teams, provides resolution to technical issues, assures best practices are followed, and assists management in meeting strategic initiatives while contributing to smooth business operations. This individual will work together with product owners, architects, development team members, trainers, testers, and analysts to deliver Business Intelligence reporting solution and maintain enterprise-grade integrations with Oracle's products.

- The Sr System Analyst will serve as a designer and developer of ETL code in ODI. The Sr System Analyst will directly interact with the Oracle Integration Lead and team's product owner to determine their analytical needs and overall priority of their request.
- The individual will rely on application and business process knowledge and prior implementation experience to make sound decisions to plan and accomplish goals.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes that meet project-specific business and technical requirements and those of the overall enterprise data warehouse data integration portfolio.
- Document all processes and support source code control using standard tools and processes.
- Perform transactional applications (source) to data warehouse (target) data mapping.
- Maintain current knowledge of the technology industry, including leading tools and best practices.
- Perform data integrity checks and data validations.
- Assist with ensuring the integrity and performance of data structures.
- Design and develop complex mappings, process flows and ETL scripts.
- Integrate ODI with multiple source/targets, Perform ODI scripting using Python or Java and Scheduling ODI jobs, configuration of monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
- Ability to design data quality and reconciliation framework using ODI.
- Troubleshooting ODI and WebLogic server issues and assist in proactive monitoring of OAS environment.
- Develop software code as per specifications, by understanding customer requirements.
- Actively pursues excellence in the technical knowledge relevant to this position.
- Establishes best practices in the use of these technologies and communicates same to appropriate parties at varying technical levels.
- Provides guidance to technical teams and system integrators concerning suitable integration frameworks and reviews their proposed solutions.
- Evaluates the need for proof-of-concepts based on the strategic roadmap laid out by the Enterprise Architecture team and Functional Solution architects, and supports other teams in justifying these POCs to senior management.
- Leads complex integration projects, identifies business opportunities and creates a project plan to meet strategic objectives and outcomes.
- Is the lead analyst for the interfaces associated with one or more technology products, major enterprise applications or medium sized department portfolios. Analyzes business requirements and presents solution options to business needs. Provides expertise and delivers value beyond immediate initiative goals.
- Delivers integration design documents, develop integration implementations, develop project plans for complex projects, and develop business cases including value analysis.
- Coaches and influences business managers in technology decisions. Engages with internal and external partners regularly to overcome blockers and develop efficient and widely usable interfaces. Understands and anticipates the needs and requirements of business partners. Prepares and conducts regular status updates on their projects.
- Provides guidance and develops alternatives and recommendations. Gains support for recommendations.
- Manages incidents including timely and relevant communication. Triage problems, remediate, analyze root cause, and implement incident prevention using techniques such as Human Performance Improvement.
- Communicates effectively across multiple stakeholder groups to influence project outcomes and steer towards enterprise goals. Proactively engages leadership at the lead and manager levels. Partners on delivering success and managing challenges early. Solicits and implements feedback. Manages change proactively.
- Works independently with a minimum of supervision, and is adaptable and willing to perform tasks outside of a narrowly defined role.

Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math and (5) years' relevant experience or
- Associate's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math and (7) years' relevant experience

- Master's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math and (3) years' relevant experience

Relevant Work Experience
- 5-7 years IT experience focused on data management. Required and
- 5-7 years Strong ETL design/development with experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Required and
- 5-7 years Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL development Required and
- 5-7 years Strong experience in Data warehousing applications. Required and
- 3-5 years Experience in CDC using Oracle GoldenGate and ODI Required and
- 3-5 years Experience in developing load plans, ODI mappings, error handling, migration of objects and scheduling jobs. Required and
- 3-5 years Experience with Load balancing and High Availability in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Required and
- 2 years Experience with Oracle databases in performance tuning and optimization. Required and
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with audiences at multiple levels and across multiple disciplines. Must be able to plan, organize and lead meetings.
