Core Responsibilities
- Clean Energy Program Manager responsible for interconnection of DER projects related to low-income customer premises.
- Direct management of third-party partners and consultants across multi-year contracts to deliver results on time and on budget.
- Communicate scope and objectives of the program to various internal and external stakeholders including senior management, all impacted working groups and other NYSPSC REV working groups, and policy makers.
- Develop relationships with industry experts, external partners (NYSERDA, NYSEIA, NYBEST), and internal business units to gain buy-in and successfully execute on project design, implementation, execution and completion.
- Coordinate marketing and outreach efforts with internal groups to engage customers and seek feedback.
- Develop and forecast program budget and track against forecasted performance. Oversee program expenses and financial reporting.
- Provide customer service support on escalated program issues, as necessary.
- Represent Con Edison at regulatory bodies, industry conferences, and external stakeholders in the context of the program.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
- Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of experience or
- Master's Degree and two (2) years of experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, environmental science or other technical major and 5 - 7 years of experience In utility, clean energy, or sustainability
- Master's Degree MBA, Engineering, or other technical discipline and 2 years of experience In utility, clean energy, or sustainability.
Relevant Work Experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build a consensus through collaboration with various stakeholders. Required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Required
- Ability to collaborate with employees within the team and across the organization at all levels of management. Required
- Self-motivated with a passion for clean energy and problem solving. Required
- Experience with new technologies, utility business models, and innovative design. Preferred
- Experience with decarbonization, building electrification, and/or renewable energy. Preferred
- Experience working with and presenting to DPS staff and/or executive stakeholders. Preferred
- Demonstrated project management and/or contract management experience; PMP certification a plus. Preferred
- Experience in planning, managing, coordinating, reviewing, and processing budgets and invoices. Preferred

Other Physical Demands
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
