Core Responsibilities

  • The E-Mobility Advisory Services Program Specialist is responsible for managing the Advisory Services pipeline and ensuring a +1 customer experience. Responsible for:
  • Intake and management of applications to Con Edison's Advisory Services program
  • Collaborating with Advisory Services site assessment and rate teams on processes, procedures, customer education, and project-specific issues
  • Supporting cross-functional business communications and collaboration between multiple Con Edison organizations
  • Con Edison, a multibillion-dollar energy utility, is leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County.   • The Electric Mobility (E-Mobility) Advisory Services Program Specialist will be responsible for managing the Advisory Services pipeline from intake to completion and ensuring a +1 customer experience
  • Schedule and run calls with Advisory Services customers to explain program processes and/or results
  • Provide exceptional customer experience by delivering Advisory Services site assessment results in a timely manner and communicating clear and understandable guidance to customers on calls and in writing
  • Collaborating with Advisory Services technical team on processes, procedures, customer education, and project-specific issues
  • Collaborating with E-Mobility Strategy/Program teams and Rate Engineering on customer rate questions and rate calculator support
  • Supporting cross-functional business communications and collaboration between multiple Con Edison organizations
  • Track status of Advisory Services pipeline to report progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders and management
  • Organize and maintain all Advisory Services external-facing program documentation
  • Identify needs to optimize and improve Advisory Services process efficiencies and support implementation of any related changes
  • Develop communications or recommendations associated with program, market or technology changes
  • Role may include serving as subject matter expert for the team on EVSE station site constraints, real estate/leasing business practices, and other market conditions to identify how fleets and other customers can best streamline and optimize the site selection and development of EV charging stations in Con Edison territory
  • Work effectively and participate on cross-functional teams responsible for new department initiatives that may arise from time to time
  • Represent the Company's interests to internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in sustainability discipline and 3 years of work experience with project management or clean energy program experience.
  • Master's Degree in engineering or sustainability disciplines and 3 years utility or other business work experience with project management or clean energy program experience

  • Experience with or knowledge of utility new business interconnection processes and operations Preferred
  • Experience with or knowledge of utility rates Preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EV charging station interconnection procedures Preferred
  • 1-2 years project management experience at a utility Preferred
  • Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders in customer-facing or regulatory environments Preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EV charging station operations and economics Preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
